The Tuv Province Museum was first established in 1951. The museum has about 5,700 exhibits of art, history, ethnography, religion, archaeology, and nature and has 18 employees. The museum is a non-profit cultural and academic institution with the functions of registering, collecting, preserving, researching, promoting and disseminating movable cultural heritage items, and organizes various exhibitions and multifaceted educational activities based on research and promotion.

In addition to this museum, which is located in the center of Zuunmod city, branches such as "Museum of Nature " and " Museum of Religious History " built on the basis of Manzushir monastery at the Zuunmod gap of Bogd Khan mountain, national park, provides museum services to travelers and tourists.
